Investing in education is investing in the community's future

In Cabo del Este, accessing higher education is an important step, but staying in school is not always easy. For many young people, continuing their studies means facing financial challenges that can interrupt their education.

With this reality in mind, Fundacion Costa Palmas, in collaboration with Universidad Autonoma de Baja California Sur - La Ribera Campus, launched the Costa Palmas Scholarship Program, an initiative focused on supporting university students from the region.

Through this agreement, the commitment to creating more educational opportunities for local youth is strengthened, helping them remain in higher education.

Currently, 22 of the 34 students at the La Ribera campus receive the Costa Palmas Scholarship, support that allows them to continue their studies and move forward in building their professional future.

Beyond financial support, this program is an investment in local talent and the long-term development of the region.

Because when a young person continues their education, they do not only change their own future. They also transform the future of their community.
