Successful Pet Vaccination Campaign and Check-Up in La Ribera
In a significant effort to prioritize the health and well-being of pets in the community, Fundación Costa Palmas organized a much-needed Pet Vaccination and Check-Up Campaign in La Ribera. Pet owners from La Ribera, El Campamento, Las Cuevas, and Santa Cruz enthusiastically brought their beloved furry companions to receive essential veterinary care
The campaign was spearheaded by local veterinarian Cristóbal Cosío, accompanied by his wife Dea Galván along with dedicated volunteers from Costa Palmas. Together, they worked tirelessly to ensure the success of this important initiative.
A total of 50 dogs and 11 cats were provided with comprehensive care during the campaign. The diligent team administered the sextuple vaccine to the dogs, effectively safeguarding them against distemper, parvovirus, and influenza. Additionally, 11 cats received thorough check-ups, deworming, and necessary treatments.
The primary objective of this event was to offer the local residents' cherished pets a thorough check-up, assess their overall health, and provide any necessary treatments and vaccinations. By doing so, Fundación Costa Palmas aimed to contribute to the well-being of these animals while promoting responsible pet ownership within the community.
This remarkable campaign serves as an important addition to the previous sterilization initiatives carried out in La Ribera in recent months. Fundación Costa Palmas remains dedicated to educating local residents about the significance of proper pet care and ensuring that pets receive the necessary attention to lead healthy and happy lives.
